If the Republicans had their way, we would be living in another dark age. Democrats are by no means perfect, but that entire party thrives off of hindering social evolution and it makes me want to put a fucking bullet in my head. Women’s rights? Sorry, being the shining beacons of morality that they are, they believe that all life is sacred. That means if you’re a female and have an unplanned pregnancy, whether it’s from failure of contraception or rape, you should have to keep it. Like Rick Santorum says, that rape baby is a gift from God. Where is this sense of morality when you shift your attention to gay, immigrant or underprivileged citizen rights? Nowhere to be found. I don’t think I’ve met a Republican who doesn’t live in a state of constant fear; fear of government death panels, fear of war from Iran, the fear that our country is being driven straight into the ground. Guess what? It already has been. I pray that we are living in the end times. We’ve had more than enough time to get things right and we take ten steps backwards with every step forward.
